Rajan Sethi, a Master’s in Business Administration from International Business Macquarie University, with an entrepreneurial bent of his mind and culturally rooted heritage for food, over the passing generations in his family, has ostensibly studied the cuisines and Indian food and beverage market, introducing some of the most culturally strong concepts in Indian cuisine. He relentlessly works towards his dream to bring eclectic cultures together across the country and globally through cuisines and ingredients.
An aficionado of Indian cuisine and taking immense pride in the cuisine from the region, it is his belief that concerted efforts need to be made to elevate the position of Indian cuisine, across, and it is up to people from the land to ensure continuation of its culinary legacy.
Bright Hospitality, spearheaded by Rajan, launched award-winning brands since its inception in 2007. Under its umbrella are revolutionary, trendsetting, critically acclaimed and multi-award-winning brands like The California Boulevard, AMPM Café & Bar, The Eternity (a boutique hotel), ikk panjab, The G.T. Road (A 2600 kms Food Journey) and cloud kitchen brand Kung Fu Mamma. Each concept is true to its name, and is an experiential delight. Born in a liberal Sikh family, Rajan has always been a dreamer.
After finishing his graduation, he chose to go to Sydney for further studies and not just linger on his family business. Rajan has envisioned the current gap in the culinary world of connecting food to the local produce. His firm belief in awakened life and creating a space for his patrons for a refreshing pause by bringing and serving the best produce made him introduce three new concepts; redefining the premium casual café lounging experience. Deep-rooted, flavourful, healthy lifestyle and a niche for a healthy lifestyle agnostic modern artistic brands OMO - building a soul food Community, Ngarum - building a niche for an extraordinary coffee experience and Wild and Raw - magical blend of natural goodness of beverage and desserts.
As a food connoisseur, he aims to reinvent dining experiences for all the epicureans of the town and encourage healthy living and smart-conscious dining. Rajan is an avid rider; travelled across the lengths and breadths of the country and globally. Being a canine lover, he loves to unwind with his family and most importantly with his pets. He also treks and follows a conducive fitness regime with a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
