Among the handful of women corporate chefs in India, Nita Nagaraj stands tall. She was one of the first women chefs in India. She started her journey as a chef more than 40 years ago. A mentor and a God mother to many, she says that considering kids today have a greater level of exposure and understanding of what they are getting into, commitment and a passion for the profession are required to go the long haul - especially if you choose this profession. She has worked with the Oberois, Hyatt, TheTaj Group of Hotels and Jaypee Hotels during the course of her career.
