Devesh Srivastava is the Chief Executive Officer and the driving force behind the success and evolution of CoCo ICHIBANYA, India, the world’s largest Japanese curry chain restaurant.
He started his journey with the restaurant chain as Assistant CEO in 2019 when CoCo ICHIBANYA launched its first outlet in India in Gurugram. As Chief Executive Officer, Devesh is responsible for developing and executing the restaurant chain’s long-term objectives by making high-quality business and investing decisions for the Indian market.
With over 22 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Devesh always strives for the long-term success of brands he works with. Prior to his role as the CEO of CoCo ICHIBANYA India, Devesh worked with renowned international brands like Chilis Grill & Bar, Pizza Hut, Silver Sea Cruises and Hyatt Hotels in India as well as overseas.
Devesh completed his graduation from the Institute of Hotel Management, New Delhi. Since the very beginning, Devesh was very involved in taking leadership positions and excelling in all walks of life. Furthermore, Devesh has always been passionate about food, and following this passion, he is constantly on the lookout for expansion opportunities for CoCo ICHIBANYA in India.
In his free time, Devesh enjoys painting and an occasional game of cricket. His five year plan is for CoCo ICHIBANYA to be among the top QSR brands in India. Further, by the fiscal year 2023–2023, Devesh plans to open five company-owned restaurants in Delhi NCR and expand to other metropolitan cities using a franchisee model.
